Sunday... Still Alive

41
Hey everyone it's been a while, huh!
Lately I've been working and studying like ever, so my brain is so tired of eating knowledge,
I have been programming like crazy lately, not to mention the numbers at my job....
But yeah, I am still pretty much still alive! Thanks to coffee! (Nonn, I hate coffe!)

I wanted to drop of some update for the blog as this weekend I had free time to simmie stuff :D
At first I tried finishing my last hair mesh, it's pretty solid now, but I still have to touch some things here and there.

A peek of it right now:

Don't know when I finish it, but pretty soon, if my agenda doesn't cut my free time again, that is!

Got some programming over s3sr done, let's say 50% of a sub-functionality, how great huh...
Not in a mood for C#, that's what happens.............

I removed from the grave a veryyyyy old project I had,
now that I have more experience and knowledge on this I was able to come up with something.
It's a accessory mesh for The Sims 3, more specifically an alpha-accessory that acts as a 3D "Fake Eyelash".

This was very tricky to get it to work, not only to make it alpha-enabled without Expansion requirement,
I had to clone a mesh from the base game, and edit the mesh TGIs and complates manually to get it to work right.
I couldn't use the GUI tools we have (TSRW, CTU, ...) because they always borked the mesh.
Due for being a alpha-mesh I had to replace the GEOM shader, as well specific mesh settings I can do only if I don't edit with those tools.
Not to mention the pain to get the lash shape right on the Sim face PLUS smooth vertex weights to match Sim facial movements.
I am speaking technically here, not everyone wants to know how it is done, but just know it is a lot of work. XD

With some textures:

The textures I just drawn mainly to test the difficulty to create a style to be applied to the mesh UV.
And, it's pretty easy, so much that I made around 13 of them.
But I would not release it like that, I want to actually take some time to make them not that rough looking of course.

LemonLeaf and WM will be working on their stencils too, in case I decide to retouch those I did maybe will be at the final product.
Just lately I heard of the CAP, man, they are the cutest things, I can't wait to get some of those kittens to ruin my sofas like in Sims2 haha!
But I am sure Skyrim will be my focus..
I can already see...
Oh, my grades....

Miss the big Apple....... what a loss.....

Hair Mesh #005 Wip

26
I started doing this hair at this warmth cozy morning, I got really only a base and some detail planes but it's really solid so far (I think)...
2.5 hours of work so far. Stop here, do that, back to that, and so on. Oh, life.

Fringe-less version (WIP (Maybe eternal haha)):
---
Right now I got more solid mesh and textured (thanks to anto XD)
I think it's pretty much done... except for that fringe.. I hate it XD
I am not good with fringes, if don't get it right, remove it. >___<
